Our Story

The COOP started when Sam, a partner of One Design Company moved out of his apartment adjacent to the office. After a trip to a Brooklyn coworking space he decided the concept of coworking was something he wanted to be a part of. So with the recently vacated space and a few donated tables, the COOP was formed.

We are situated in the heart of Chicago's River North. Literally right off the Chicago Brown Line we are a mere moments from the heart of the city and transportation to most major train lines. Come check us out!

Who works here? Writers, web developers, internet specialists, programmers, graphic designers, journalists, students, independent thinkers, entrepreneurs, open-minded, nice, hard-working people. We like them. We have also turned the space into a rotating gallery where we showcase local, Chicago artists.
